Census Records of 1860 (transcript) The Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War, 1861-1865, have an ongoing project of identifying the burial places of Union veterans in Scotland and Clark Counties, At the present time, we have identified approximately 190 burial sites in Scotland County. On a related note, Joanne Aylward, Route 1, Box 22, Arbela, MO 63432, has started a collection of obits of Civil War veterans from Scotland County. She reports that it is a "work in progress".
