PURPOSE

The goal of the Scotland County Genealogical Society is to create and foster an interest in genealogy. The Society will collect and preserve knowledge and informationwith reference to genealogical and related historical and biographical data. As a not for profit organization, we will provide instruction in the use of materials, promote interest in research and aide individual genealogists in their search. As our long-term goal, the Society is working toward establishing a Scotland County Genealogical Libray. To
